TWENTY FOUR HOUR ENGINEERING LTD
ENGINEERING & ARCHITECTURAL METALWORK CONTRACTOR
Architectural Metalwork
Since its inception, Twenty Four Hour Engineering Ltd has been actively engaged in Architectural projects, experiencing a growing demand in the industry since 2016. In 2021, we established a dedicated department for Architectural projects, led by Architectural Director David Hale, who manages an in-house design team, fabricators, and installation services across the UK, providing clients with a comprehensive "one stop shop service" from initial design to installation.
We take pride in partnering with some of the industry's leading names, including Comar, Raico, JACK, and Schuco. With a full-time design team and the latest versions of AutoCAD and Fusion 360, we offer a complete design package, including 3D modelling.
Our extensive range of suppliers allows us to provide all types of manufacturing and assembly work, ensuring a seamless process from design to installation, all under our "one stop shop service."

With over 38 years of experience in the UK construction industry, I hold a Black CSCS card and an NVQ Diploma Level 6. My expertise lies in structural glazing, curtain walling, entrances, and aluminium shop fitting. I combine technical knowledge and management skills with strong interpersonal abilities to ensure a client-focused and effective approach to every project.
I have a proven record of successful project delivery, including:
- Nationwide fit-out of Barclay’s security counter screens with newly designed extrusions and manufacturing of new dies.
- High-level trading units at Liverpool Street Station, featuring a main entrance canopy and the design of three new extrusions to enhance the architectural concept.
- A structurally glazed façade at Finsbury Dials, spanning 10/12 storeys, complete with a high-level canopy.
- Barrel vaulted glazed walkways and lift shafts for the Docklands Light Railway extension, along with canopies and new extrusions.
- A structural glass wall supported by glass fins at East Grinstead Leisure Centre, including curtain walling, windows, a mansard roof, and both external and internal doors.
- The First Class passenger lounge for Cathay Pacific at Charles de Gaulle airport, featuring a 3200mm high cantilevered 19mm clear toughened glass balustrade/walls with steelwork bolted through the slab.

- Cantilevered 3000mm high glass structures at Kings Walk Mall, securing the slab edge, balustrade, automatic doors, and enclosures for the new Virgin Megastore.
- Curved head arched shop fronts and structural glazing for Littlewoods in St Petersburg, Russia.
- Development of 60 shop fronts with new extrusions and structural glazing at Chatham Maritime to enhance a listed building.
- Glass balustrades, three structural glazed walls, windows, a glass roof, and an automatic main entrance at The Howard Centre, Welwyn Garden City.
